About Us

Virginia City RV Park is a family-run RV park in Northern Nevada. It is located close to Reno, Carson City and Lake Tahoe, which all make great day trips from Virginia City RV Park. We are conveniently located within a five-minute walk to Historical Virginia City, where there is plenty of activities for the whole family. We are close to the town pool, playground, and the Silver Terrace Cemeteries. Our trails are packed year-round by four-wheelers, hikers and energetic mountain bikers.

Virginia City was founded in 1859 and was once one of the richest places in the world known for the famous Comstock Mining District. During the Gold Rush, miners and merchants flooded to the area from all over the world to make their fortune. On any given day, you can still see many cowboys walking down the wooden boardwalk, visiting our saloons. Don't forget to watch the gun show while you are in town, and enjoy a steam-train ride through our beautiful mountains. Come and explore as you learn about our rich history, which will make you fall in love with our quaint town.

Virginia City is known to be one of the most haunted ghost towns in the west. Take a tour if you dare and meet one of the many ghosts still lurking in the hallways. Ghost sightings have been featured on Ghost Adventures with Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and the TV crew.
